The Stewardship Leaf (Council) provides human resources and administrative oversight for the congregation.

The stewardship elder is considered the congregational chair, and for legal purposes, is the official representative of the congregation along with the treasurer and secretary. She/he is responsible (with the assistance of council members) for setting congregational meeting agenda, assessing staff needs, and supervising paid staff, contracts and evaluations, church finances and communications (working closely with AMC’s secretary and treasurer).

The Facilities Committee, responsible for decisions about building projects, maintenance and rentals, reports to the Stewardship council, as does the Finance Committee, Gifts Discernment Committee and Communications/IT Committee.
